Description

Dual 12v Battery Split Charge System

With all the demands put on the battery of a serious off-road vehicle, an auxiliary battery is an essential accessory. To manage that battery you will need a Split Charge System. The T-Max dual battery system automatically links two batteries for charging but isolates them when discharging. It has a manual override feature and built-in safety protection. The system is a 12-volt system with a 180A Load capacity. Kit includes solenoid, display unit all necessary wiring and connectors, and full instructions.

The idea of a T-MAX dual battery system is to have all (or most) of your accessories connected to the second battery (usually a deep cycle).

As your accessories use power from the second battery the isolator prevents power from draining from your main starting battery leaving it ready for you to start your vehicle when needed.

T-Max Dual Battery System comes with a clear display to show the voltage for your main and aux batteries.  It also has a manual override to let you manually link should you wish to override the automatic system.

This product is a complete split charge system with a battery digital status monitor, designed for a dual battery charging system. The digital status monitor displays the stored energy of both batteries and the charge voltage while charging them with an alternator, a solar panel, or any other 12v source. The batteries are automatically linked through a 250A continuously rated relay when a charging voltage of over 13.3v is detected. The batteries are isolated when discharging. In emergency situations, a manual override function to link the batteries can be actuated.
