Winch Battery Extension Cables – Anderson – British Made 8mm Lug. 4m long.

Designed for Trailers, Recovery Truck & Installations that Require Longer Battery Cables to Connect Your Winch

The battery is not always conveniently situated near to your winch, so when the industry standard winch power cable length of 1.8m is not long enough to reach you will need to extend.

One of the most common problems we hear of is where power cables have been extended using inadequate cable or low-grade jump lead cable. This results in significant degradation to the winch performance, overheating, and even a risk of fire.

To ensure that your winch will deliver the maximum pulling power we have set about designing the ‘ideal’ extension kit to help ensure maximum performance and trouble-free installation.

Premium quality ELANDFLEX British Standard EN60228 35MM2 copper cable with a class 6 extra flexible conductor and heavy PVC flexible insulation.

Heavy-duty CEMBRE solid copper tube ring terminal lugs, annealed for maximum ductility and tin-plated to prevent oxidization hydraulically crimped on and sheathed with heavy-duty heat shrink sleeving.

There is a -ve lead & +ve lead with a run of 40cm. M8 Lugs at one end, Anderson connector at the other. This small run should be connected to the winch. Then there is a long run of 360cm with +ve lead & -ve lead. M10 Lugs at one end, Anderson connector at the other. This longer run would connect to your battery.
